Internet works fine in Portugal, in most places there is wi-fi to connect to which works well.
Mobile
I have 3 as a mobile provider and it has worked perfectly when I was in Portugal.
Coworking
There is a lot of coworking spaces both in Lisbon and on the Algarve coast. I haven’t tried any of them though.
Pricing
The prices in the tourist resorts are high, like in Sweden or maybe a little below.
My experience of Portugal
When I was in my 20s, some friends and I took a train trip to the Algarve in Portugal and then also to Lisbon a few times. In those days, it was collect calls that applied when you had to call home and ask for a little more money ☺️ No mobile phones, no internet, and the only thing you wanted to do was to have fun, sunbathe and meet new people.
In the spring of 2023, I was again on the Algarve coast, but then in a luxurious hotel with wi-fi and all amenities. There, of course, it went as well as possible to work and I had meetings, created websites, acquired new clients and learned more about AI while I was there. A. really good week. I was there in April and the weather was wonderful, about 25 degrees and sunny, a little rain one day, but it was just nice.
Actually, I can’t say what it’s like to be in Portugal for a longer period to work and discover the country, but working for a week on a shorter workation works perfectly.
